As an amendment to motion S5M-00448 in the name of Jackie Baillie (The Economy), insert at end “; recognises the importance of a long-term strategy of maximising economic recovery from the North Sea and western Shetland oil and gas fields; notes the integral role of the Oil and Gas Authority in leading this, and calls for the £40 billion in decommissioning to be part of that long-term strategy, given the jobs that should accrue to Scottish ports and businesses from that work”.
