Sculpture and Parliament Garden Tour

The work of George Wyllie MBE, arguably one of Scotland’s most celebrated and unusual artists, has gone on display at the Scottish Parliament.

This tour celebrates the work of George Wyllie, whilst also including other artworks from the Scottish Parliament art collection.  The Garden is a tranquil and fitting location for the works of Scotland’s WHYSMAN, in the heart of the Holyrood complex

The sculptures that have been installed in the Parliament’s Garden include:

  • Cradle
  • Contemplace
  • Eco-bucket
  • Studio
  • Train of the standing stones

The next tour is scheduled to take place on Saturday 6th October 2012 at 15.30.

As the Sculpture and Garden Tour takes place outside, visitors are advised to wear sensible clothing and footwear. If due to adverse weather conditions it is not possible to conduct the tour outside, visitors will have the option of taking part in a tour of the Scottish Parliament Art Collection inside the building.

The tours last one hour and must be booked. To book please call Visitor Services on 0131 348 5200 or email sp.bookings@scottish.parliament.uk
