The 7th Business in Parliament Conference will take place in the Debating Chamber on Friday 8 June hosted by the Presiding Officer Tricia Marwick MSP. The conference aims to explore and highlight the importance of entrepreneurship and internationalisation to promote economic growth.

The 42nd Conference of the British Islands and Mediterranean Region will be held in the Parliament from Sunday 10 - 13 June.

John Smith Fellows Welcome Dinner
The Deputy Presiding Officer Elaine Smith MSP will host the Welcome Dinner for the 2012 John Smith Fellows on Monday 11 June.

Dewar Debate 2012
Chaired by the Deputy Presiding Officer John Scott MSP, the annual Dewar Debate Final will take place on Thursday 14 June. This years' finalists include St Andrew’s & St Bride’s High, Craigmount High, Nairn Academy and Stewart’s Melville College.

World Press Photography Exhibition 2012
The World Press Photography Exhibition will once again be on display for members of the public from Thursday 5 July until Saturday 28 July. The exhibition will include images from the 55th World Press Photo Contest.
