The remit of the committee is to consider and report on Executive reports/documents on proposals for, or budgets of, public expenditure, or for tax-varying resolutions; committee reports concerning public expenditure; any report made by a committee setting out proposals concerning public expenditure; and Budget bills, and (discretionary) timetable for such bills and handling of financial business; and any other matter relating to or affecting the expenditure of the Scottish Administration or other expenditure payable out of the Scottish Consolidated Fund.

Public Services Reform (Scotland) Bill - The Committee has been designated as lead committee on the Bill and is currently scrutinising the Bill at Stage 1.  Please follow the link below for full information on the Committee's scrutiny of the Bill.

The Scottish Budget - The Committee will shortly be scrutinising the Draft Budget 2010-11. Please follow the links below for information on the Draft Budget and the budget process in general.
