The remit of the committee is to consider and report on the Scottish economy, enterprise, energy, tourism and all other matters falling within the responsibility of the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth apart from those covered by the remits of the Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change and the Local Government and Communities Committees.

Scottish Government's Draft Budget 2010-11 The Committee began its scrutiny of the new draft budget on 30 September 2009. Written Submissions Banking inquiry The Committee issued a call for written evidence for submissions to its new inquiry "The way forward for Scotland's banking, building society and financial services sector." Please follow the link below for further information. The deadline for receipt of written evidence was Friday 11 September. Call for evidence Written submissions Oral Evidence sessions Arbitration (Scotland) Bill The Committee has now published its Stage 1 report. The Bill has now passed Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the Bill was completed on 7 October. For further details please see the work programme.
