Tobacco and Primary Medical Services (Scotland) Bill (SP Bill 22)

A Bill to make provision about the retailing of tobacco products, including provision prohibiting the display of tobacco products and establishing a register of tobacco retailers; to amend the criteria for eligibility to provide primary medical services under the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978; and for connected purposes.

Current status of Bill: The Bill was introduced on 25 February 2009. The Bill passed Stage 2 on 18 November 2009. Stage 3 amendments may now be lodged with the clerks to the Health and Sport Committee.
