Additional information
In its legacy paper, the Sub-Committee recommended that developments relating to stop and search, including the new code of practice for stop and search and the outcomes of the consultation on police powers to search children and young people for alcohol, should continue to be examined, given that concerns regarding the practice overall have yet to be resolved. More information on the Sub-Committee's work on stop and search is available in its legacy paper.
