Remit
At its meeting on 18 February 2014 the Health and Sport Committee agreed as a follow up to scrutiny of the draft budget, to scrutinise NHS board allocations in spring 2014.The Committee agreed to seek responses from all 14 Territorial Health Boards and seven Special Health Boards to a series of questions regarding NHS board allocations. The Committee also agreed, on the basis of the information received, that it would select representatives from three or four boards to give oral evidence.

The Committee conducted an oral evidence session on 20 May with representatives from NHS Borders, NHS Grampian, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Orkney.
The Committee conducted an oral evidence session on 20 May with representatives from NHS National Services Scotland, The Scottish Ambulance Service and Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
The Committee conducted an oral evidence session on 17 June with representatives from the Scottish Government.
