Remit
The Committee held an inquiry into Scotland’s potential educational and cultural future – whether there was a yes or no vote – following the independence referendum on 18 September 2014.
Themes for the inquiry
The Committee identified three broad themes for the inquiry: further and higher education; early years, childcare and employability; and broadcasting and culture.
Scotland’s Future
The three themes are informed by the Scottish Government’s White Paper Scotland’s Future: Your Guide to an Independent Scotland, which sets out its proposals for an independent Scotland.
