Section 23 report - Learning the lessons of public body mergers
Auditor General for Scotland report published 14 June 2012
At its meeting on 20 June 2012, the Committee took oral evidence from the Auditor General for Scotland regarding the report entitled "Learning the lessons of public body mergers". The Committee agreed to invite the relevant Scottish Government Accountable Officer to give oral evidence on the report at a future meeting.
The Committee took oral evidence from the Scottish Government Accountable Officer at its meeting on 26 September 2012. The Committee considered the evidence received and agreed to invite the relevant accountable officers from Skills Development Scotland and the Police Service of Scotland to give evidence to the Committee at a meeting anticipated to be in Winter 2013.
The Committee agreed, at its meeting on 5 December 2012, that it would also take oral evidence on the progress of college mergers, as part of its consideration of this report.
