Section 23 report - Commonwealth Games 2014 Progress report 2: Planning for the delivery of the XXth Games
Joint Auditor General for Scotland and Accounts Commission report published 22 March 2012
The Committee took evidence from the AGS and Audit Scotland on the report entitled "Commonwealth Games 2014 Progress report 2: Planning for the delivery of the XXth Games" at its meeting on 28 March 2012. The Committee agreed to write to Glasgow 2014 Strategic Group on issues raised in the report and agreed to copy this correspondence to relevant stakeholders. At its meeting on 23 May, the Committee considered and agreed to note correspondence from the Scottish Government regarding the report.
At its meeting on 5 December 2012, the Committee considered and agreed to note an update from the Scottish Government.
At its meeting on 16 January 2013 the Committee considered correspondence from the Scottish Government providing an update on the security budget. The Committee then wrote to the Scottish Government on issues raised in its correspondence, considering and agreeing to note the response at its meeting on 27 March 2013.
On 11 December 2013, the Committee considered an update from the Scottish Government on issues raised in the report. The Committee agreed to note the update and to seek clarification on some matters from the Scottish Government.
Impact report and update on progress
At its meeting on 12 June 2013, the Committee received an update on the report from the Auditor General for Scotland. Following this update, the Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council on issues raised in its discussion.
