Where Gypsy/Travellers live

Remit

Keen that improvements were made to the lives of Gypsy/Travellers, the Committee reviewed the work of the previous Equal Opportunities Committees and through an awareness-raising afternoon with Gypsy/Travellers, identified that where Gypsy/Travellers live is often at the root of many problems that they face. As a result, we launched a call for evidence on accommodation.

We also held a separate inquiry into Gypsy/Travellers and care.
