Stage 1 scrutiny of the Bill

The Long Leases (Scotland) Bill was introduced in the Parliament on 12 January 2012.

The Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee was designated as the lead committee for scrutiny of the Bill's general principles.

The Scottish Government has produced a Policy Memorandum and Explanatory Notes, including a Financial Memorandum, to accompany the Bill which can be found on the Parliament's website at the following link:
