About The Committee

The key role of the Committee is to scrutinise the Scottish Government’s policies and expenditure in relation to the following matters:

  • Housing;
  • Transport;
  • Capital investment;
  • Digital infrastructure and broadband;
  • Fuel poverty and energy assistance;
  • Scottish Water; and
  • Public procurement. 

The Committee also conducts its own inquiries into any matters within its remit.

The call for views closed on 19 April 2013, and the final oral evidence session was held on 5 June 2013.

The Committee will now consider a draft report during June 2013.
