Hugh Black & Sons Climb Ben Nevis for Good Cause

  • Submitted by: Neil Findlay, Lothian, Scottish Labour.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 28 August 2018
  • Motion reference: S5M-13638

That the Parliament commends the staff at Hugh Black & Sons butchers for climbing Ben Nevis to raise funds for a defibrillator in their local community in Armadale; acknowledges that staff decided to complete this task as part of the Butchers at the Heart of the Community scheme; recognises that £2,000 is required to fund a defibrillator outside the Hugh Black & Sons shop in Armadale; further recognises that most of the staff are also CPR trained in an attempt to fully support the scheme, and praises all the staff on their heroic gesture, which has the potential to save lives.
