That the Parliament congratulates Sgotaidh Mac Con Ulaidh, of the Sabhal Mòr Ostaig students’ association, on his success at the NUS Scotland Awards 2013, winning College Officer of the Year; understands that the award was given to Sgotaidh for going beyond the normal expectations for his role, providing inspiration to fellow students and making a significant impact on the student experience; believes that these awards recognise the huge achievements of the nominees; considers that everyone involved with the Sabhal Mòr Ostaig students’ association plays a significant part in delivering a more fulfilling student experience, and wishes continued success to Sgotaidh and the association.
