Ossian: Fragments of Ancient Poetry
These five works by Calum Colvin are part of a series inspired by the 18th century poet James Macpherson's 'translations' of Ossian. Colvin explores the cultural, intellectual and moral ambiguities of the modern age in his work, using found objects that refer to Scottish icons, high art and contemporary culture.
