Photographs documenting life in Lithuania since the 1950s can be seen at a new exhibition at the Scottish Parliament.
The work, by Lithuania’s most celebrated photographer Antanas Sutkus, includes images of the visit to Lithuania by Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir during the 1960s.
The exhibition was opened at a reception in honour of the visit by HE Mr Valdas Adamkus, President of the Republic of Lithuania, to Holyrood on 4 July.
"Daily Life Archives, 1959 - 1993" can be seen in the main hall of the Parliament until 25 July.
In August Holyrood will host the World Press Photo exhibition, as part of the Festival of Politics.
