Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee meet with UK Committee on Climate Change

The Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee today met with The Rt. Hon John Gummer, Lord Deben who is Chair of the UK Committee on Climate Change and David Kennedy who is their Chief Executive.

Convener of the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee Rob Gibson MSP said:

“Our Committee welcomes the positive engagement with the UK Committee on Climate Change, both today and on previous occasions. This was the first opportunity to meet with Lord Deben following his appointment, which allowed us to have a preliminary exchange of views. We look forward to working with Lord Deben and continuing the positive dialogue that followed today’s exchange”.
