Committee holds seminar on benchmarking in Scottish local government

Today the Local Government and Regeneration Committee held an event in the Parliament to discuss benchmarking in local government in the context of its inquiry into public services reform. The event provided an opportunity for Committee members to engage with stakeholders and understand some of the challenges that will be faced in moving forward with benchmarking for local government. This is the beginning of the Committee’s inquiry into benchmarking and performance measurement and the Committee will reflect on what it heard today before progressing with the inquiry.
