Palliative Care

Purpose of the group

  • To act as a channel of communication between the Scottish Parliament and people and organisations working in palliative care
  • To provide opportunities for Members of the Scottish Parliament to learn about palliative care needs and service, and the issues involved in palliative care provision
  • To increase awareness and raise the profile of palliative care
  • To put palliative care on to the agenda of the Health and Sport Committee.

This meeting will be held at 5.45 pm in the James Clerk Maxwell Room (CR4) and will include (from 6.30 pm) a joint meeting with the Cross Party Group in the Scottish Parliament on Funerals and Bereavement.
