Dementia

Purpose of the group

  1. The group will provide a forum for MSPs and stakeholders as well as other interested parties to engage directly in dialogue to inform policy developments which impact on the health and well-being of people with dementia and their carers.
  2. The group will draw on the expertise and experience of its members by sharing evidence from a range of perspectives as well as from the latest research, for example: in relation to priorities within the Scottish Government’s National Dementia Strategy. It will produce briefings to enable MSPs to highlight new and emerging issues as appropriate.
