Businesses in North Lanarkshire Receive Employment Charter Awards

That the Parliament congratulates three North Lanarkshire companies on receiving accreditation awards; understands that the awards recognise their work in honouring the North Lanarkshire Council’s charter commitments to employ North Lanarkshire residents, use local businesses in the supply chain, pay the real living wage, and ensure fair work practices that attract and retain employees; recognises that housebuilding contractor, McTaggart Construction, earned a gold award, and that Enevate Homes and Indeglas each received silver; understands that all three companies have also been working with local schools in North Lanarkshire to help young people gain further information and training regarding employment in the construction sector, and understands that another 30 companies have now been recognised through the scheme.
