Celebrating the Launch of Radio Therapy Podcast

That the Parliament celebrates the launch of the brand new Radio Therapy podcast during Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month; understands that the podcast is a six-episode series, which provides an authentic and unfiltered insight into the realities of living with teenage and young adult cancer; recognises that the podcast is believed to be the first of its kind in the world; commends the nine young people who discuss their health journeys in unfiltered detail, covering everything from the shock of diagnosis and indignities of treatment, to unexpected elements such as mental health struggles after remission, all while dealing with the trials of teenage years and early adulthood; congratulates the co-founders Julie Cain, Teenage Cancer National Lead Nurse for Scotland, and Molly Cuddihy, who, together with Sara Millar, self-funded the podcast through their charity Every Thank You Counts; thanks the team at Go Radio for its support and technical expertise; further thanks the team at PG Paper for its support and marketing expertise; notes that six episodes are available for download on all major streaming platforms, and thanks Radio Therapy podcast and its contributors, Mairi Maclean, Dana Maitles, Abbey Maxwell, Hollie Feeney, Eden Smith, Grace McLaughlin, Eilidh Gall, Daniel and Molly Cuddihy, for sharing their experiences of their journey.
