S2W-8909 Rob Gibson: To ask the Scottish Executive what upgrade will be necessary on the Dounreay to Beauly 275KW power line to carry electricity production from the northern mainland and the Northern Isles to the main Scottish grid from Beauly to the south.

S2W-8978 Phil Gallie: To ask the Scottish Executive what involvement it has had to ensure that the seismic and structure testing facility at the former National Engineering Laboratory at East Kilbride is maintained and what information it has on whether such a facility is unique in western Europe.

S2W-8979 Phil Gallie: To ask the Scottish Executive what the risks will be to the environment if the seismic and structural testing facility at the former National Engineering Laboratory at East Kilbride ceases to be operational.

S2W-8980 Phil Gallie: To ask the Scottish Executive what information it has in respect of when the last seismic and structural tests were carried out at the former National Engineering Laboratory at East Kilbride.

S2W-8981 Phil Gallie: To ask the Scottish Executive what options are available to it and industry for the testing of structures and machinery to meet current engineering standards and health and safety requirements.

S2W-8982 Phil Gallie: To ask the Scottish Executive what options are available to it and industry for the testing of structures and machinery to meet its renewable energy targets.

S2W-8983 Phil Gallie: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it will take to ensure that the 50-tonne shaker table facility remains in service at East Kilbride.

S2W-8984 Phil Gallie: To ask the Scottish Executive what its role is in respect of the determination of future usage of the former National Engineering Laboratory at East Kilbride.

S2W-8985 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive whether all written reports by the Chief Executive of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and Head of Legal and Parliamentary Services to it, including to the First Minister, the former Minister for Parliament and the Minister for Parliamentary Business, have been provided to the Holyrood Inquiry; if so, whether the chief executive has provided no such written reports since the 15 August 2003, the date of the last report to be published on the inquiry's website, and if any such written reports have not been provided to the inquiry so far, whether they will now be provided.

S2W-8986 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive whether any (a) written or (b) oral report was made to any of its ministers, including the First Minister, by the Chief Executive of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and Head of Legal and Parliamentary Services in March 2002 regarding meetings and discussions of the Holyrood Progress Group.

S2W-8987 Jackie Baillie: To ask the Scottish Executive how many ambulance call-outs there were from (a) the Vale of Leven, (b) Helensburgh and (c) Arrochar ambulance station in each of the last 12 months.

S2W-8988 Jackie Baillie: To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of call-outs from (a) the Vale of Leven, (b) Helensburgh and (c) Arrochar ambulance station in each of the last twelve months were for destinations other than the Vale of Leven Hospital.

S2W-8989 Jackie Baillie: To ask the Scottish Executive whether there have been any discussions between the Scottish Ambulance Service and NHS Argyll and Clyde about the clinical strategy review and, if so, when such discussions took place, who was in attendance and what was discussed.

S2W-8990 Jackie Baillie: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will ensure that, in any proposed changes to the configuration of health provision in any area, the impact on the local ambulance service is considered.

S2W-8991 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what its statutory obligations are in respect of the delivery of dental provision on the NHS.

S2W-8992 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive in how many practices NHS dental treatment has ceased to be provided in (a) 2001-02, (b) 2002-03, (c) 2003-04 and (d) 2004-05 to date, broken down by NHS board area.

S2W-8993 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-8689 by Mr Tom McCabe on 3 June 2004, whether NHS Borders applied for capital funding to support the development of premises for the provision of NHS dental facilities and, if so, for what projects and why the bid was unsuccessful.

S2W-8994 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what concerns it has that the only NHS dental practice in Eyemouth has intimated that it will be withdrawing from the NHS at the end of May 2004 and simultaneously reducing its patient list from 2,000 to 1,000 and whether any funding will be made available to those people, for example on benefits or low wages who may be required to travel considerable distances to access dental treatment.

S2W-8995 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive which dental practices in the Borders area (a) provide NHS dental treatment and (b) have vacancies for new patients.

S2W-8996 Mr Duncan McNeil: To ask the Scottish Executive what its response is to the motion tabled by the Scottish Council to the annual representatives' meeting of the British Medical Association that condemns "chronic failure" in ensuring that the NHS is properly staffed and demands urgent action.

S2W-8997 Carolyn Leckie: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will call in South Lanarkshire Council's application for a crematorium at Sydes Brae, High Blantyre, due to the level of public concern.

S2W-8998 Carolyn Leckie: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-7507 by Mr Andy Kerr on 10 May 2004, what evidence South Lanarkshire Council has presented in respect of its preparation of a business case for a crematorium at Sydes Brae, High Blantyre.

S2W-8999 Carolyn Leckie: To ask the Scottish Executive what research has been undertaken into any displacement effects that the development of the crematorium in High Blantyre is likely to have and what associated job losses will occur at Linn and Daldowie crematoria operated by Glasgow City Council.

S2W-9000 Carolyn Leckie: To ask the Scottish Executive what waste management strategies are in place for the safe disposal of mercury filters in the development of new crematoria.

S2W-9005 Irene Oldfather: To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has had with Her Majesty's Government regarding Scotland's preparedness for the forthcoming switch-over from analogue to digital television signals.

S2W-9006 Irene Oldfather: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-5695 by Mrs Mary Mulligan on 29 January 2004, whether it has had the opportunity to consider the Scottish House Condition Survey 2002 topic report on fuel poverty.

S2W-9007 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive what arrangements are in place to monitor the implementation of National Guidance on Managing Head Lice Infection in Children.

S2W-9008 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive what arrangements are in place to evaluate the effectiveness of National Guidance on Managing Head Lice Infection in Children.

S2W-9009 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it has taken to obtain feedback from schools, health professionals and parents on National Guidance on Managing Head Lice Infection in Children and on its Head Lice Information for Parents leaflet.

S2W-9010 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether, in addition to the leaflet Head Lice Information for Parents, it has any plans to support further promotional materials or campaigns to raise awareness of the prevention and treatment of head lice infection.

S2W-9011 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to encourage a "whole school" approach, where all parents check their children and family members on the same evening and treat them as necessary, as suggested in the Department of Health guidance, The prevention and treatment of head lice.

S2W-9012 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to encourage NHS boards and education authorities to distribute "bug buster" kits to tackle head lice infection.

S2W-9013 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps schools are taking to raise awareness of the prevention and treatment of head lice infection, in light of the advice contained in National Guidance on Managing Head Lice Infection in Children, which recommends that alert letters are no longer issued to parents.

S2W-9014 Linda Fabiani: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it is satisfied that Scottish cases heard before any newly-formed UK Supreme Court will receive a fair hearing under article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights, if the majority of judges are not qualified in Scots law.

S2W-9015 Linda Fabiani: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-30051 by Mr Jim Wallace on 28 October 2002, when the relevant data will be placed in the Scottish Parliament Information Centre.
