  William Wallace letter to go on display

  A 700-year-old letter believed to have been in the possession of William Wallace will be displayed alongside the famous Lübeck letter.

  The free exhibition will run from Friday 10 to Friday 31 August 2012 in Holyrood’s Main Hall.

  The Scottish Parliament has brought together new graduates from Scotland’s four renowned art schools to create an exhibition – called ‘Design & Democracy’ – to showcase how inspired design can be both life-enhancing and creative.
